Post subject: Demon Dog- She's the energizer bunny of canines.

About two and a half years ago we had to put my beloved dalmation down due to an enlarged heart. Soon after my mum learned that an old friend was taking up lab breeding. We went to check out the puppies and I fell head over heels for one of the squiggly pups. She was the darkest of the lot, so it was easy to spot her from all her near-white siblings. Mum tried showing me other pups(Especially ones from a champion mother and father), but none of them caught me like her. Oh did I pay for my choice...

I named her Sadie after a song I adored at the time(Lyrics: Sadie G. she's crazy see, that's what the white coats say.) and it didn't take her long to live up to her name. Everything she touched she destroyted. Stuffed toys were soon banned in the house, and not even "Long-Lasting, Rugged!" toys can stand up to those jaws. Pillows, glasses, hats, shoes, my cell phone(Which still worked, even though it was held together with tape), CDs, THE WALL... We would have to keep her on a leash in the house. Outside was just as bad. We have a fensed in yard, but we had to get an electric fense ontop of that because she would jump on the pool cover like a trampline.

Long story short, after over a year of this we were nearly at wits end. My mum's friend suggested we get another lab for her to bounce off of. We were thinking about it when one day she called up saying a woman had just returned a one year-old(Single nurse mom, 3 kids. Poor guy was in the cage all night plus 9 hours a day) and she wanted him to go to a good home. My parents zipped over there and fell in love with Brady. (Yes, Sadie and Brady. xD)

Oh the difference he has made... Both of them are so happy, and they can't stand being in other rooms without each other. But there is still problems with Sadie. She's VERY dominate over Brady. She's always tossing him around and starting trouble, jumping on him(If you catch my drift), stealing his toys he was playing with, and even stealing goodies right out of his mouth! We yell at her and try to get them away and put her in her crate, but it does no good. Brady is just a big(87lbs to Sadie's 70lbs) loveable doofus, and we hate seeing him get bullied around so much. Once in awhile he'll throw his weight around and toss her, but she jumps back up and starts all over.

Both are crated at night (We don;t dare leave her unattended at night) and when we feed them because she would simply eat Brady's food in a heartbeat. Is there anything we can do to get her to stop all this? We were told the whole dominace thing would stop after so long, but it's still going strong. I love my puppies(Even if they're 1 1/2-Brady and 2 1/2-Sadie), but Sadie would try even a saint's patience.
